Hiking with Fawn and Jerry. . .

We spend the day yesterday (Sat.) with Fawn and Jerry at their home in Silver Reef. We swam, rode four-wheelers, hiked and ate like kings and queens. This is us hiking to this cool kiln that was built by Italians in 1885. They used it to burn wood and then hauled the cinders to the silver mine to use. There is a well maintaned trail to it so it wasn't to strenous for us old folks.
One of the COOLEST DUDES that I know. Jerry and Fawn are some of the funnest people I have ever hung out with. They act like they are our age and more fun than people who really are our age. We love them. Thanks for the fun day.
My gangsta boy. He really does think he's all that. What a stud!!!

This is a window towards the top of the kiln. It is probably twenty feet above the ground and the kiln is around twenty five feet high.

Our family at the entrance to the kiln. Rough lookin' bunch, eh?!? Good times!

The Father and Mother of the Groom, Ron, Gayle (my mon's sister) and their oldest son, Devin.

Drayson, the Groom's little brother (He's a senior in High School this year) workin' it with the ladies!!!! He was quick to tell us that he "had history" with the cutie in the middle! You go Drayson! I arranged this photo op. so he could get close to her. You owe me.

This is my mom, Connie and her Mom, LaPrell. The Olsen women ROCK!!

My cousin, Jason's wife Katy and two of her kids. I have a beautiful family and they're cool too. All in all, it was an awesome night and so much fun to hang with the cousins and to see all of our kids playing together. Can't wait to do it again! (In about 5 years, Drayson!!!)

Mr. and Mrs. Dallin Ball, August 1, 2009

My cousin, Dallin, marries Hannah in the Manti Temple, Aug. 1, 2009. What a beautiful couple and a beautiful wedding! Congratulations!!

Once again, I have posted backwards! Oh well. This is at the end of the reception at the cake cutting. Yes, right after this photo, this gorgeous cake was smashed into each other's face. I gues it's tradition, right?

Our beautiful Breanna with the new couple.

Bryson loves weddings. They were kind enough to pose while in their reception line. Thanks guys.

Leaving the Temple doors as Mr. and Mrs. We love you two.

Santa Clara Warriors. . .

Braden's baseball team, the Warriors, played in three tournements this summer. They took 1st in two of them and 3rd in the other. Braden played first base, third base and right field. He hit well all season, hitting in the winning runs in their last game!! It was fun traveling with them and supporting the team. Can't wait to do it again next spring!!

We Have A 12 Year Old!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday Breanna!!! We had a heck of a good time at her party! Fun, food, and all out craziness!! Amanda and Breanna, what posers!!
Kaytlyn knocks the crap out of Breanna's head while delivering her gift. All the girls followed suit.

Give me money!

Make a wish. . . .

Welcome to the party and life with a 12 year old!! Some would say she has been 12 for quite some time according to her attitude, but now we can officially blame it on her age!!!

Virgin River Skimboard Competition 2009

Every summer in St. George they hold a Skimboard competition at the Virgin River. People come from all over to compete here. It is very well know in the skimboard world and highly competive. Two years ago, Braden took 1st place in his age division and Breanna took 3rd in hers. Last year we couldn't attend, but this year Braden entered and won 2nd in his division. We are so proud. We took the whole family and spent the day at the river. It is very shallow and so much fun for the kids and I to just hang out there in the water while it is 110 degrees in St. George! We spend a lot of time here in the summers. Braden checks the ramp angles so that he gets the best jump.

Braden's biggest fans and cheerleaders. Except Breanna who read and listened to her ipod for most of the competition.

He is such a serious competitor. Where most of the kids were into the quantity of their runs, Braden was into the quality of his. He did fewer runs but they were the his very best and like everything he does, he gives 110% of himself.

Fun was had by all and we can't wait to do it again next year!

Doing Fireworks at Home. . .

Cheesy fireworks, but the kids didn't care! They thought their Dad was the greatest.

More 4th of July Activities. . .

Chillin' watching the horseshoe competitions.
